Discovery RV Services, LLC. is a mobile RV inspection service based in Portage, Michigan. It comes to you, and asks that the unit be hooked up at a campground or another level site with full hookups so everything can be tested properly.

It inspects the roof, sidewalls and end caps, slideout rooms, awnings, the 12 volt and 120 volt electrical systems, generator, inverter, battery system, fresh and waste water systems, LP gas system, refrigerator, water heater, furnace, air conditioners, and the appliances, cabinets and interior condition, on Class A, B and C motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers and toy haulers. Beyond a standard pre-purchase check, it also offers verification-of-repair re-inspections after dealer or manufacturer work, pre-listing inspections for sellers, lender-required inspections, and warranty inspections to help find issues to submit to a warranty company.

No inspection pricing is published, so ask about the fee when you call. Reports go out by email within 24 hours of the onsite inspection, and the business works by appointment. It carries commercial liability insurance, which matters because an inspector is in and around your rig's roof, underbelly and systems. Owner Chris Hanna is a Registered RV Technician through the RVIA and a Certified RV Inspector trained through the NRVTA, and the business holds NRVIA certification, which matters most if you are buying used and want an unbiased look before money changes hands.

Google rates it 5 stars from 148 reviews.

This is a good fit for a buyer or seller in the Portage area who wants a documented, photographed report before an RV sale closes, or an owner whose warranty is running out and wants a professional list of what to submit.
