Big V RV

Big V RV is a family run RV repair and inspection shop based in Milford, Michigan. It is a mother and sons business, and you bring your rig to them for service.

The shop works on roof sealants, slide out seals, holding tanks, plumbing and winterization, and checks carbon monoxide detectors as part of what it calls "an end to end, top to bottom safety checkup on your rig." It also does new and used RV inspections, including a pre-delivery inspection before you take possession from a dealership, and detailing. Its rental fleet runs Class C motorhomes, and it services Lippert components.

No trip fee, hourly rate or published hours are listed, so ask about those costs and its hours when you call. Big V RV backs its RVs with what it calls "a 2-year limited warranty." Vanessa holds a Certified NRVIA Inspector credential and Level Two Technician Certification with the RV Technical Institute, both worth asking about if you want someone trained to catch water intrusion and electrical issues before they turn into a bigger bill. An NRVIA inspection matters most before you hand over money on a used rig, since it is built to catch the problems that do not show up on a walk through. Evan is training with the Lippert Technical Institute and helps with inspections. The business has been running since March of 2020.
