Northbound RV Service

Northbound RV Service is an RV repair and collision shop based in Merrill, Michigan. It also offers mobile RV service and estimates, so depending on the job, you can either bring the rig to its Gratiot Road location or have a tech come to you.

It works on winterization and spring de-winterization, roof repair and replacement, roof washing and UV resealing, exterior seal inspection and resealing, water damage and rot repair, plumbing, electrical diagnostics, appliance repair and replacement, slide-out repair, and awning repair and replacement. It also handles RV collision and body repair and insurance estimates, which is worth knowing if a tree branch or a low gate has left a dent or torn siding, since not every RV shop takes on body work alongside mechanical repair. It also offers winter RV storage and parts and special orders.

Northbound does not publish a trip fee, an hourly rate, or a set service area on its site, so ask about those when you call, along with whether a mobile visit covers your campground, storage lot, or driveway. Its hours are posted as 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Google rates it 5 stars from 6 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in Mid-Michigan who needs both routine work, like a seasonal winterization or a roof reseal, and body repair after a collision, handled under one roof, or a traveler who wants to ask whether a mobile visit can come to them before loading up the rig for a shop trip.
