Sunset RV Storage & Service

Sunset RV Storage & Service is an RV storage lot and service shop based in Livonia, Michigan. You bring the RV to its gated lot on Stark Road, where it offers both long-term storage and year-round repair work.

The shop handles winterizing and de-winterizing, bearing repacks with brake inspection and seal replacement, fresh water system sanitizing, propane fills and leak tests, awning repairs, roof reseals, roof washes with UV protectant, exterior washing, tire replacement and inspections covering brakes, propane, towing, slide-outs, hot water tanks, electrical and appliances. It also installs upgrades such as power tongue jacks, entry stairs, slide awnings, instant hot water tanks, faucets and AC units. A roof reseal matters more than it sounds, since a leaking roof left alone can rot the structure underneath long before it shows up as a stain inside.

No hourly rate or trip fee is published, so ask about cost and what a given job includes when you call. Office hours run Monday through Friday, 9 to 4, though the storage gate is open 365 days a year from 8 am to 9 pm, which matters if you need to pull your rig out for a trip on a weekend. The shop is a member of MARVAC, the Michigan Association of Recreational Vehicles and Campgrounds.

Google rates it 4.8 stars from 42 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Livonia area who stores a rig on site and wants winterizing, a roof reseal or a pre-trip inspection done at the same lot where the RV already sits.
