Central Truck & Trailer Repair

Central Truck & Trailer Repair is a truck and trailer shop in Clinton Township, Michigan, that also works on RVs. You bring the RV to its facility on Groesbeck Highway rather than having a tech come to you.

It lists preventive maintenance, brakes and brake repair, wheel alignment, truck alignment, steering and suspension, batteries, starting and charging, exhaust services, engine cooling system work and climate control among its services, along with custom fabrications. It does not spell out which RV systems or brands it handles beyond that general list, so it is worth asking when you call whether your specific repair, a fridge, a slide-out, a water heater, falls inside what they do.

No hourly rate or trip fee is published, and no hours are listed, so ask about both when you call, along with how long the job might take.

Central Truck & Trailer Repair describes itself as specializing "in the repair and customization of truck, trailer and RVs," and it also does custom builds and fabricated trailers, which is worth knowing if your rig needs something made rather than just fixed.

Google rates it 4 stars from 33 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near Clinton Township or the wider Detroit area who can get the RV to the shop and whose problem sits in the chassis, brakes, suspension or cooling system rather than the RV-specific systems, and who does not mind calling ahead to confirm pricing and whether the shop can take on the job.
