Jim's Certified RV Inspections is an RV inspection service based in Roslindale, Massachusetts, and it will travel to wherever the RV is, at a private home, a dealership, or a park or campground. Jim Kazakoff, the owner, will go to units anywhere, though his usual routes cover towns across Massachusetts and New Hampshire, with dealership examples including Nashua, NH, Brockton, MA, Raynham, MA, and Foxborough, MA.

He inspects motorhomes, travel trailers and fifth wheels of every type, Class A, B and C, pop-ups, bumper pulls, toy haulers, truck-bed campers and super C's, covering the chassis and all major house systems, with particular attention to life safety systems and propane. He only performs complete, Premier-level inspections rather than a shorter partial check, because he says he will not "unsee or ignore problems and deficiencies found during an inspection."

A flat fee and trip charge of $260 is due for every inspection, which includes travel time up to one hour each way, plus an hourly rate for the time needed to finish the job. Travel beyond that is billed at $80 an hour based on GPS drive time. He also offers fluid analysis packages separately, useful for catching engine, transmission or coolant trouble before you buy.

Jim became an NRVIA certified inspector in 2022 and Google rates him 5 stars from 19 reviews.

This is a good fit for anyone about to buy a used or new motorhome, trailer or fifth wheel and who wants an unbiased, third-party look before signing.
