Cape Cod Truck

Cape Cod Truck is a truck repair shop based in Orleans, Massachusetts, on Cranberry Highway at RT 6A. Trucks are its main trade, and RVs and motor homes are one of its listed services. It says it serves "all of Cape Cod & The Islands" and has done so since 1972.

It lists motor home and RV repair among its specialized services, along with engine and electrical diagnostics, brakes and suspension work. It also does Mass and DOT inspections on RVs and motor homes. It names no RV brands and no RV systems such as air conditioners, refrigerators or slide-outs, so describe your exact problem when you call. It does not say whether it comes to your campground or driveway, so ask.

It publishes no prices, hourly rate, trip fee or after-hours service, so ask about the trip fee when you call. Its listed hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 to noon and 12:30 to 4:30.

It describes its team as "highly-trained factory certified professionals," but it names no specific certification for RV work. It promises "Fixed Fast, Fixed Right" and "We Guarantee It," though it does not say what that covers on an RV. Google rates it 4 stars from 34 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner on the Cape or the Islands with a motor home or RV that needs repair or a Mass and DOT inspection, who wants to ask about the trip fee and the guarantee before dropping it off. It is a weaker fit for a traveler stuck at a campground with a dead refrigerator or slide-out.
