Mechanics on Wheelz
Own this business? Update this listingMechanics on Wheelz is an auto repair shop based in New Market, Maryland, that also runs select mobile repairs. Most work happens at their shop on Old National Pike, but for jobs that cannot wait, they bring ASE Certified technicians and tools to your home or workplace.
Among their listed services is RV repair, alongside engine, electrical, plumbing, appliance and brake, tire and suspension work. They serve Frederick, Montgomery, Carroll, Howard and Washington counties. No specific RV types or brands are named on their site, so ask when you call whether your rig is a fit.
No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published. Ask about the trip fee and whether a mobile visit is available before you book, especially if you are hoping for an on-site repair rather than a shop visit. They do list "Fix Now. Pay Later" financing with 0% interest, and they offer a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty on mobile service repairs and a 12 month, 24,000 mile warranty on in-shop repairs, so a repair done either way is covered if something goes wrong soon after.
The business has been running for "6 Years and still going strong," with technicians who are ASE Certified. Google rates it 4.8 stars from 419 reviews.
This is a good fit for an RV owner in the Frederick County area who wants a shop they can bring a rig to for most repairs, with the option to ask about a mobile visit when towing is not practical.
