Potomac Mobile RV Services

Potomac Mobile RV Services is a mobile RV tech based in La Plata, Maryland. It comes to you, meeting you at your home, a campground, or anywhere else that works, so there is no need to tow the rig anywhere.

It works on RV AC/DC electrical systems, jacks and leveling systems, refrigerators, air conditioners, water heaters, furnaces, batteries, LPG and propane systems, plumbing, roof inspection and maintenance, and general exterior work. That is a wide spread of systems for one mobile tech to cover, which matters if more than one thing is acting up on the same trip, since it can mean one visit instead of several.

The hourly rate is $175 per hour, and an RV check-up or annual maintenance is billed at $45 per serviced item. No trip fee is published, so ask about that when you call, along with hours, since none are stated either. One traveler wrote that the technician arrived within hours to fix a broken air conditioner at a campground in the middle of summer, without a tow, which is the kind of save that a mobile tech is built for: a dead AC or a stuck slide-out often means the rig cannot easily go anywhere, so a tech who comes to the campsite saves a tow and the wait that comes with it.

Google rates it 5 stars from 27 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the La Plata area who wants routine maintenance done in the driveway, or a traveler stuck at a nearby campground with a system down and no good way to get the rig to a shop.
