Leo's Vacation Center

Leo's Vacation Center is an RV dealer with its own service department, based in Gambrills, Maryland, between Baltimore and Washington D.C. You bring the RV to its shop rather than have a tech come to you. Leo's sells RVs too, and says "We also service what we sell," so an owner who bought elsewhere is still welcome at the service counter.

The service department works on all RVs, travel trailers and campers, covering most major brand appliances along with hitches, tow bars, wiring, LP systems, electric repairs, plumbing, brakes and winterizing. It also does full body work and works directly with insurance companies for reconstructive repairs from accident, water or wind damage, and it performs Maryland State RV Inspections. The shop itself is a 20,000 square foot service and prep area.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call. Service hours run Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm, closed Sunday.

Leo's has been family owned and run since 1972, over 50 years in the business, with certified technicians on staff. It also sells extended service programs that it says provide "service anywhere in the country for years," which matters if you travel far from Maryland and want repair coverage that follows you. Google rates it 4.3 stars from 825 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near Baltimore or Washington D.C. who wants one dealership for both an RV inspection and a major repair, and who does not mind scheduling a shop visit instead of a mobile call.
