Central Maine Boat and RV Rentals

Central Maine Boat and RV Rentals is a boat and RV rental business based in Readfield, ME. Boat rental is its main trade, and RV service is a smaller part of it. It offers "RV detailing services" in and around Readfield and Brunswick, ME. It says "Have our team travel to your location," and it also takes RVs to its shop, with a "drop off or have us pick up your RV" arranged when you call 207-931-8820.

The RV work it lists covers auto body repairs, appliance repairs, winterization, paint jobs, scratch removals, interior and exterior detailing, and RV storage. It says "Whether you need a battery replaced or a gas line inspected, we can make it happen," and that its RV team "can work on campers of any make, model or brand." It names no RV types or brands. It is "able to serve boat and RV owners statewide," with no radius given.

It publishes no trip fee, hourly rate or RV job prices, so ask about the trip fee first when you call. It states no after-hours or emergency service. Its hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and Sunday by appointment only. It promises "we’ll give you a quote and get right to work" after assessing the camper, so the price comes after someone has looked at the rig.

It names no certifications, licensing, insurance or warranty, and it cites "years of experience" without giving a number of years. Ask about each before work starts. A crew that comes to your campsite can save a tow when a rig will not move.

This is a good fit for an owner in Readfield, Brunswick or Mount Vernon who wants detailing or winterizing and can bring the RV in or have it picked up. It is a weaker fit for a traveler who needs a road repair, since no emergency service is stated.
