Alpha RV Clinic & Repairs

Alpha RV Clinic and Repairs is a mobile RV tech serving York County and Cumberland County in southern Maine. It comes to you, whether you are at a campground, at home, or broken down by the road. No street address is published, so ask where it is based when you call.

It works on roofing, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, winterizing, de-winterizing, pre-purchase RV inspections and upgrades. It says it serves "all makes and models of RVs including travel trailers, fifth wheels, Class A, B, and C motor homes." The towns it names include Saco, Biddeford, Portland, Kennebunk, Wells, Brunswick and Windham. It also says it services RVs at campgrounds around the Saco and Portland area, Old Orchard Beach, and the Wells and Kennebunk area.

A walk-around on a used rig rarely shows what is wrong underneath. Its own line is "Don't trust dealers or private sales, let us inspect your RV before purchase." An inspection by a tech who is not selling you the rig is the check a seller cannot talk you out of.

The trip fee, listed as Service Calls, is $85. The business describes it as "We charge this rate to come out to evaluate your RV issues." All RV repairs are $125 Hr, RV inspections are $85 Hr, and winterizing and de-winterizing are each $85. It accepts cash, Venmo, and credit or debit cards. Its hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, and it is closed on weekends. No after-hours or emergency service is stated, so ask about a weekend breakdown before you need it.

It calls itself "A Christian owned business," and its owners describe themselves as "seasoned RV owners." No certifications, warranty, licensing, insurance, brands or technician names are given, so ask about those when you call 207-281-7003. A warranty tells you who makes good if the fix fails a week later, somewhere down the road.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in York or Cumberland County who wants a tech to come to a campground or driveway, or for a buyer of a used travel trailer, fifth wheel or Class A who wants an inspection before signing.
