John's Detailing & Cleaning

John's Detailing & Cleaning is a detailing studio based in Bowdoinham, Maine, at 561 Bay Rd. It calls itself "Maine's premier detailing studio." It offers car detailing, boat detailing, ceramic coating and RV detailing. Its published information does not say whether it comes to your campsite or driveway or whether you bring the rig to its studio, so ask that before you book. It says it serves "Bowdoinham, Bath, Brunswick, Topsham, Richmond, Gardiner, Augusta and surrounding areas."

The RV work is described only as "Specialized RV and motorhome detailing services in Maine." Nothing it publishes describes repair work on an RV's systems, so expect detailing only. Its ceramic coating is listed for cars, trucks and SUVs, with a "2-5 year protection guarantee," and its car packages come in Silver, Gold and Platinum levels. No RV price, trip fee or hours are published, so ask about all three when you call.

The guarantee is worth asking about before you book a coating. It is listed only for cars, trucks and SUVs, and a guarantee helps only if it covers your rig. It names no technicians and states no licensing, insurance or years in business. Google rates it 5 stars from 62 reviews, under the category car detailing service.

This is a good fit for a motorhome owner near Bath, Brunswick or Topsham who wants RV detailing and nothing mechanical, and who will ask about the price, the trip fee and the guarantee before booking.
