CheckMyRig

CheckMyRig is a mobile RV inspector based in Walker, Louisiana. It comes to you: "I come to you." It describes itself as "Louisiana's mobile RV inspector," with statewide service and New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Shreveport among the cities it names.

It inspects the exterior and roof, chassis and frame, electrical systems, batteries, the propane system (with a manometer leak test), water systems and water heater, HVAC, slides and awnings, and safety devices. It says it follows "a rigorous written standard of practice" and gives photo-rich reports. It lists no certifications, licensing, insurance or warranty, so ask Gary which he holds before you book.

This is a good fit for an owner in Louisiana who wants an independent inspection before buying, selling or setting out on a trip, and who will get the price on the phone first. It is not the fit for a traveler who needs something fixed on the road, since the listed work is inspection.
