Bison Mobile Detailing

Bison Mobile Detailing is a mobile detailer based in Lexington, Kentucky. It comes to you, at your home, office or farm, so there is no drop-off or pick-up at a shop. Travis Place, the owner, has worked as a detailer since 2014.

Its services menu lists RVs and campers alongside vehicles, horse trailers and boats. It brings its own equipment and says "We don't even need your water or electric hookup." Its products are "water and polymer based, which means they are free of acid and safe for use at your home or farm." It also says "When we are done, we leave your vehicle, trailer, or RV looking like new." A detail is cosmetic work, though, so a rig with a mechanical or systems problem still needs a repair tech.

The years Travis names are with horse trailers, including horse haulers with living quarters. Ask what he has detailed on motorhomes and travel trailers before you book.

It lists no prices, so ask about the trip fee when you call. Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekends by appointment. Its service area is Lexington, Kentucky, from April to December. From January to March it takes appointments in the Ocala, Florida area. It says it has been "Celebrating 5 years servicing our Kentucky and Florida clients."

Ask whether it is licensed and insured, and whether it offers a warranty or guarantee, when you call. Google rates the business 4.2 stars from 5 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in or around Lexington who wants a rig cleaned at home between April and December, or an RV owner near Ocala who wants a detail in January to March and not a repair.
