Detail On The Go

Detail On The Go is a mobile detailing business based in Basehor, Kansas. It comes to you, saying "We come to you anywhere in KC," and covers Kansas City, MO, Kansas City, KS, Olathe, De Soto, Lawrence and Overland Park.

Its RV work covers exterior wash, interior cleaning and roof maintenance. The roof cleaning matters on its own: mold, mildew and debris left sitting on an RV roof can work into seams and cause leaks, so getting it cleaned on a regular basis is cheaper than chasing a leak later. The exterior wash and spray wax protect the finish from UV damage, which matters for a rig that sits outside in a storage lot or driveway most of the year.

No hourly rate, trip fee or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call, along with whether a given job includes the roof, the exterior or both. Hours are listed as Mo-Su 00:00-23:59. The business lists a partnership with KOA RV Care at the Lawrence KOA, which suggests it has done this kind of work at a campground before and knows how to work around a rig parked on a site.

Google rates it 5 stars from 85 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner who wants the RV washed, cleaned inside and the roof checked for grime without hauling it anywhere, whether it sits in a driveway, a storage lot or a campground in the Kansas City or Lawrence area.
