Reynolds Mobile RV Service

Reynolds Mobile RV Service is a mobile RV tech based in Marengo, Iowa. It comes to you, at the campsite, driveway, storage lot or roadside, and covers what it calls the Iowa Corridor, including Iowa, Linn, Johnson, Benton, Poweshiek, Tama, Washington, Cedar and Henry counties, towns from Cedar Rapids and Iowa City to Grinnell and Washington.

It works on electrical systems, air conditioning, roofs, slide-outs, plumbing and furnaces, across Class A, B and C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, campers and toy haulers. Jobs named on its site include slide-out motor and gear repair, roof reseal and re-roof, propane furnace leak and load testing, axle and brake work, and fall winterizing. A rig parked at the Amana Colonies RV Park is about 15 minutes from the shop, which matters if the nearest dealer would rather tow you in and make you wait.

No hourly rate, trip fee or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call. Hours are listed as open 24/7, and the owner answers calls and texts directly, day or night, rather than routing through a call center.

Caleb Reynolds owns and works the trucks, with 18 years of RV experience behind the business. "Honest pricing, quality parts, guaranteed," is its stated warranty, worth pinning down with specifics when you book a job. Google rates it 4.9 stars from 225 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler broken down at an Iowa Corridor campground who wants someone to come to the rig instead of arranging a tow, or an owner nearby who needs a roof reseal or winterizing done at home without a shop appointment.
