The pin is Michigan City, not an address. Lake Shore Executive Detailing works from a vehicle and comes to you.
Lake Shore Executive Detailing
Own this business? Update this listingLake Shore Executive Detailing is a detailing business based in Michigan City, Indiana, at 3609 E US HWY 12. It is not a mobile RV tech. It offers "free pickup and delivery" for your vehicle, and you can also bring the RV to the shop yourself. It lists its service area as Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan. It does not say whether it will work at a campsite, RV park or driveway, so ask before you book.
The RV work it describes is cleaning and protection, not mechanical repair. That covers washing, waxing and sealing, deep cleaning of upholstery and surfaces, removing stains, odors and allergens, conditioning the roof, cleaning awnings, and detailing wheels and slash guards. It also does ceramic coating, and every vehicle is inspected before and after detailing. It does not name motorhomes, fifth wheels or travel trailers, so ask which rigs it takes.
It publishes no RV prices, no hourly rate and no trip fee beyond the free pickup and delivery, so get a price for your job before you hand over the keys. It lists seasonal discounts and discounts for veterans, first responders and seniors. Hours are Tuesday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, with Sunday closed and "Monday is by appointment only." It lists no after-hours or emergency service.
The one certification it names is "authorized dealer and certified installer for System X Ceramic Protection." A certified installer has been approved by that brand to apply its coating, which is worth asking about before you agree to one. It lists no licensing, insurance, warranty or named technician. It was established in 2014 and also describes "combined experience exceeding 40 years," so ask what that covers. Google rates it 4.4 stars from 86 reviews. The phone number is (219) 879-1250.
This is a good fit for an owner around Michigan City who wants an RV washed, waxed, sealed or coated, and who wants the rig kept in its "secure on-site storage" with free pickup and delivery. It is not the place for a slide-out that will not move, a generator or a roof leak, since none of those are on its RV list.
