The RV Tech is a mobile RV repair and inspection outfit that works out of the Indianapolis area and comes to wherever your rig is parked. Its regular ground is Indianapolis, Bloomington, Evansville and the rest of Central Indiana, and it also takes work in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Florida.

Day to day it handles the usual list: refrigerators, furnaces, air conditioners, water heaters, slide-outs, roofs, generators, plumbing and electrical, on fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers and Class A, B and C motorhomes. Winterizing, de-winterizing, roof and tank cleaning, and wash and detail work are on the list too.

Where it stands apart is the specialty work. It is an authorized Aqua-Hot service center and works on the Aqua-Hot 450D and similar hydronic heating systems, which plenty of general techs will not touch. It does a lot of work on Renegade RVs, installs Vroom slide systems, and does lithium battery upgrades as an authorized dealer for Battle Born and Epoch. It also puts in solar panels and satellite systems.

Its site carries the RVTAA and NRVTA badges alongside NRVIA. If you are buying a used RV, the founder is an NRVIA-certified inspector, and the business describes itself as the only certified NRVIA inspector in Indiana. A pre-purchase inspection here comes with a detailed report, and fluid analysis is offered alongside it.

There is no rate card on its pages. Quotes come through an online request form, so ask about the trip fee and hourly rate before anyone drives out. It is open Monday through Friday, nine to five.

This is a good fit if you own a diesel pusher or a Renegade with an Aqua-Hot system and want someone who works on them every week, or if you are about to buy a used rig in Indiana and want it inspected first.
