Hale's Automotive is an auto, truck and diesel repair shop based in Marion, Illinois, at 408 North Court Street. Car and truck work, including semi-truck and fleet repair, is its main trade. RV service is one thing it does, and you bring the RV to its shop. Ask whether it will ever come to your campsite or driveway.

It says, "We have experienced RV technicians to get your RV in shape for your next trip." It lists RV maintenance and winterizing. Its AC and heating repair covers "all types of vehicles," but RV air conditioning is not named, so ask about the AC on your rig. Ask which RV types and brands it handles.

It publishes no hourly rate, RV job price or trip fee, so ask about the trip fee when you call. It has "a 24-hour towing service on site," so ask whether that covers an RV.

It names ASE Certified techs and AAA-approved and NAPA Auto Care Gold Certified affiliations. ASE is an automotive credential, and no RV certification such as RVTI or NRVTA is named, so ask which techs work on RV systems. Its warranty is a "5-year/unlimited mile nationwide warranty," so ask whether it covers RV work. Google rates it 4.7 stars from 522 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner who can get the rig to Marion on a weekday and wants maintenance, winterizing or AC work from a shop that also handles trucks. It is not a fit for a traveler who needs a rig fixed at a campground.
