RM RV Service Inc.

RM RV Service Inc. is a mobile RV repair and inspection business based in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. It comes to you, at your driveway, storage lot or campsite, and lists Joliet, Morris and Marengo as its service area, with pages also covering Marseilles, Portage, Seneca and Yorkville.

Its technicians handle electrical and plumbing repairs, appliance issues, body and roof repairs, HVAC and slide-out mechanism work. For routine upkeep they also do oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, fluid checks, generator maintenance and air conditioning tune-ups. Having a tech drive to your location instead of the other way around matters when something like a slide-out has failed, since towing a rig that cannot close up safely is its own headache and expense.

No hourly rate, trip fee or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those costs when you call. The company does list 24/7 emergency RV repair service for breakdowns outside normal hours, with regular hours of Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday by appointment.

RM RV Service describes itself as "Licensed, Bonded, and Insured," which matters because it means a licensing body stands behind the work and a bonding company can make a traveler whole if the workmanship falls short. It also backs its jobs with a guarantee: "If you're not happy with the results or the repairs don't meet the high standards we promised, we'll get back to work until you're delighted." Google rates the business 4.9 stars from 104 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the western Chicago suburbs or along the Joliet to Yorkville corridor who wants a technician to show up at the campsite or driveway rather than booking a shop slot, and who wants both repair and inspection work from the same call.
