Lake RV

Lake RV is a service and repair shop and large parts store based in Ponderay, Idaho, just off Highway 95 north of Sandpoint, behind the Co-op. You bring the RV to them at 498 Fontaine Drive rather than them coming to you.

They work on RVs, travel trailers, horse trailers and utility trailers, with jobs covering roof repairs, furnaces, plumbing, electrical, wire harnesses, brakes, bearing packs and trailer hitches. They are an authorized service center for Atwood, Dometic, Norcold, Suburban and Thetford, which matters if your fridge or furnace is one of those brands and needs a repair that keeps the factory warranty intact. They also accept most warranty plans, extended warranties and insurances, which can save a fight over who pays.

Winterizing is a flat $125 per vehicle, covering the work needed to avoid frozen pipes, water heater and faucets going into the cold months, worth booking ahead of the first freeze rather than after a pipe splits. No hourly labor rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about that and about current job pricing when you call. Store hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Lake RV has worked on RVs and trailers since 1993, and also owns and manages All Seasons RV Park next door, with monthly live-in spots and a waitlist. Google rates it 4.1 stars from 121 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Sandpoint and Ponderay area who wants a shop that is authorized to work on major RV appliance brands and can also winterize the rig before winter sets in.
