RentForFun RV

RentForFun RV is a repair shop based at 814 Rising Sun Dr. in Nampa, Idaho. It also rents and sells RVs. You can bring your RV to the shop, and it offers "Mobile Service at My House," which it labels "Least Economical." Ask whether a mobile visit reaches your driveway or campground before you plan around it.

It names Nampa, Meridian, Caldwell, Marsing and Eagle, and says it services "the wider treasure valley area." It specializes in luxury Class A motorhomes and works on "All Makes, & Models of RVs aged 2000 and up." The work covers chassis brakes, suspension and tires, appliances, furnaces, roof and basement air conditioners, awnings, slide-outs, batteries, generators and leak repair. No radius or mileage limit is given, so ask how far it will travel to reach you.

It notes an additional charge for pickup and dropoff but gives no amount. No trip fee, hourly rate or emergency rate is listed, so ask about each when you call. General repairs take "2-3 days depending on parts availability," but collision work can take "between 1-2 weeks," so plan on the longer timeline if insurance is involved. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Sunday it is closed, though stored vehicles can be picked up with advance notice.

The business calls itself "locally owned and operated." It does not state certifications, licensing, insurance, a warranty, years in business or named technicians, so ask about each before you book. Its 120 point inspection is worth asking about before you buy a used rig.

This is a good fit for an owner near Nampa, Meridian, Caldwell, Marsing or Eagle with a motorhome, travel trailer or 5th wheel from 2000 or newer, who can wait a few days for parts or plan around a longer collision job.
