Dan's RV Service

Dan's RV Service is a mobile RV tech based in Cascade, Idaho. It comes to you, at your camping spot or at home, and serves Valley County and the surrounding areas.

Dan works on roofs, plumbing and water heaters, heating and cooling, batteries and electrical systems, and axle service, on travel trailers, motorhomes, fifth wheels, toy haulers, hybrids and tent trailers. His plumbing work covers everything "from leaks, to toilets, to water heaters, etc." On the axle side, he takes each wheel bearing down to clean metal, checks for hot spots or wear, hand packs the bearings, and replaces grease seals, then checks the brakes and torques the lug nuts, a more thorough pass than a quick grease job. He also says he is "fully certified in refrigerator and air conditioning repair," which matters since those are two of the systems most likely to strand an RV owner mid-trip.

No trip fee or hourly rate is published, so ask about it when you call. There are no set hours listed either, but the site tells readers who need something right away to call the number directly. Worth knowing before you wait too long: Dan's calendar fills up fast in spring and summer, so booking ahead for maintenance before camping season matters.

Google rates Dan's RV Service 4.9 stars from 15 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in or near Valley County who wants repairs done at the campsite or driveway instead of hauling the rig into town, especially for plumbing, roof, electrical or wheel bearing work.
