Rick's Mobile RV Service, LLC

Rick's Mobile RV Service, LLC is a mobile RV tech based in Gainesville, Georgia. It comes to you, wherever you are parked, and covers Gainesville plus a range of 100 miles into north Georgia.

It works on plumbing systems, including tanks, water heaters and leak detection, along with electrical systems such as wiring, battery and inverter inspections, and new installations. It also handles air conditioners, furnaces, refrigerators, stoves and microwaves, plus structural work: roofs, slide-outs, seals and leveling jacks. A rig that cannot be hauled to a shop, because a slide-out is stuck or a jack has failed, is exactly the kind of job this setup is built for.

The business does not publish a trip fee or hourly rate, so ask about both when you call. Hours run seven days a week, 9 to 7, shifting to 9 to 5 in winter.

Rickey holds RVTAA and NRVTA certification, and the business describes itself as "certified and insured." Rickey and Sarah also bring over 25 years of personal camping experience and have owned multiple RV and camper types themselves, which matters when a tech is diagnosing a problem on a brand they have actually lived with. One traveler who bought a new camper and immediately had an issue wrote that "he was out the next day" and fixed it within the hour.

Google rates the business 5 stars from 89 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in or around Gainesville who wants a certified mobile tech to come to a storage lot, driveway or campground rather than wait on a dealership appointment, and who is comfortable asking about cost upfront since none is posted.
