RV Roof Install LLC

RV Roof Install LLC is a roofing shop based in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, about four miles south of Chattanooga, Tennessee. You bring the RV to them rather than the other way around, and travelers come from as far as New Mexico, Indiana, Virginia, the Carolinas, Florida, and Canada to have the work done there.

The shop installs and rebuilds RV roofs and handles roof repairs, working with Dicor and Carlisle Syntec materials on rigs including pop-ups and fifth wheels. It states, "we have three decades of commercial roof experience from design, fabrication, framing, and installation," background brought over from commercial roofing rather than RV manufacturing. It also offers a free roof inspection, worth doing on an older rig before a soft spot turns into a leak, or on a newly bought one before you find out the hard way what the last owner missed.

No hourly rate, trip fee or price list is published, so ask what a job will run and how long it will take when you call. The shop does publish a 20 year warranty on its installs, longer than the one year most factory RV roof warranties give the original owner only. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. Joe comes up repeatedly in owner accounts as the one who walks people through what he finds on their roof.

This is a good fit for an owner facing a roof replacement or a repair beyond patch and caulk, who is willing to travel to Fort Oglethorpe for a commercial-grade job and a longer warranty than the factory gave.
