Boswell's RV & Off Grid, LLC
Own this business? Update this listingBoswell's RV & Off Grid is a mobile RV tech based in Calhoun, Georgia, with no shop location. It comes to you, with a 4x4 service truck that it says can "get to you no matter your location, even off the beaten path," covering Calhoun, Adairsville, Cartersville, Rome, Summerville, Dalton and Chatsworth.
It works on 120VAC and 12VDC electrical, plumbing and water heaters, AC units and furnaces, appliances and refrigerators, awnings and slide toppers, solar power systems, and roof membrane resealing and replacement. It also does welding and fabrication on trailer frames, and handles insurance estimates for most major carriers. It no longer services holding tanks or black and grey waste systems.
The service fee is $85 for calls in Calhoun and Adairsville, and $125 to $175 for other areas depending on location. The hourly rate is $155 for all scheduled service calls, emergency call outs and insurance estimates, and getting on the schedule requires an $85 deposit up front. It also offers emergency roadside service for travelers stuck on the road. Phone hours run 10am to 4pm, by appointment Monday through Friday.
Owner Tyler J Boswell runs the business day to day, from answering the phone to doing the repair work himself. Worth knowing before you call: the business states plainly that it offers no warranty on service, repairs or parts, so ask up front about anything that worries you on that front.
Google rates it 4.7 stars from 249 reviews.
This is a good fit for an owner in or around Calhoun, Rome or Dalton who wants a tech to come to the driveway or campground and is comfortable with no warranty on the work.
