Apalachee RV Center

Apalachee RV Center is a fixed-location RV and commercial vehicle repair and collision facility based in Auburn, Georgia, off Highway 316 between Atlanta and Athens. You bring the RV to its shop, though it also offers roadside assistance if you are stuck on the side of the road.

It works on travel trailers and motorhomes, covering collision repair, suspension, chassis and engine work, house systems, roof and walls, power generation, generators and tire services. It says it is "factory authorized for routine services, maintenance, engine/generator repairs, and full engine replacements" on gas or diesel chassis, and authorized to repair most house systems. Roof inspections are free, along with preventive maintenance and related services, which is worth using before a small leak becomes a wall replacement.

No trip fee or hourly rate is published, so ask about those when you call. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The shop works with all insurance and extended warranty providers, which matters if you are dealing with a collision claim or a covered repair and do not want to manage the paperwork yourself.

It has been doing this since 2005, and it also handles specialized commercial fleets for government and nonprofit clients, including mobile clinics and ambulances, work that speaks to the range of systems its techs handle. Google rates it 4.6 stars from 332 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near Atlanta or Athens who wants a shop that handles everything from a collision claim to a slow roof leak, and who does not mind driving in rather than waiting on a mobile tech.
