Stormin' Norman's Mobile Detailing

Stormin' Norman's Mobile Detailing is an auto detailing business based in Oxford, Florida, at 11413 Zimmerman Path. Its main trade is washing and waxing cars, and it also offers RV detailing, in its own words, "I also offer R.V. Boat and cargo trailer detailing." It does not say whether it comes to your campsite, storage lot or driveway, or whether you bring the RV to its location, so ask both before you book.

Its service area is "Serving The Villages and surrounding areas," and The Villages is the only town it names. Besides detailing, the RV work it lists is awnings and roof cleaning. It does not name RV types or brands, and it does not say what an RV detail includes, so ask what is covered before you book.

RV detailing is priced by length. Up to 20 feet runs $175 to $200, up to 24 feet runs $200 to $250, up to 30 feet runs $250 to $300, up to 36 feet runs $300 to $350, and up to 48 feet runs $350 to $400. Awnings run $20 to $30, and roof cleaning is $1.50 per ft, described as "Pressure wash only," with removal of black streaks extra.

The business publishes no trip fee, hourly rate or hours. When you call, ask about the trip fee first, then whether it will come to your site. Its pages mention a maintenance program that saves up to 25% off regular price, but they do not say whether it covers RVs.

It does not mention licensing, insurance, a warranty or how long it has been in business, so ask about each before you book. Insurance is worth asking about because a pressure washer on a roof is work where damage can happen. Google rates it 4.6 stars from 9 reviews, a small sample where a few reviews can move the number.

This is a good fit for an RV owner near The Villages who wants RV detailing, awning work or roof cleaning and wants a price before booking. It does not list repair work, so a traveler with a broken slide-out or a failed system needs a different kind of shop.
