Glenn's Tire & Service

Glenn's Tire & Service is a tire dealer and auto repair shop based in south Melbourne, Florida. It calls itself "an independent tire dealer and complete automotive service center" serving Brevard and Indian River counties. You bring the RV to its shop at 2726 South Harbor City Boulevard, one mile south of the Melbourne Causeway on US-1. It does not come to your site.

RV work covers rigs "from the largest Class A diesel pusher" down through Class C and towed units, "including fifth-wheel trailers." Its "three full-size drive through truck bays" take big motorhomes in and out. The shop names wheel alignment, suspension, handling and preventive maintenance as its RV work, done with "precision Josam Laser Wheel Alignment equipment." It names no RV brands and does not mention slide-out, air conditioning or refrigerator repair.

No RV prices or labor rate are published, so ask for the hourly rate and any diagnostic charge before you drive in. Hours are "7:30am thru 5:30pm Monday thru Friday," with no weekend or after-hours service listed. Scheduling requests get a call "within 24 hours" to set a time.

The technicians are "ASE certified," which means they have passed national tests in specific repair areas, so ask which technician will work on your rig. The business was "established in 1952," and Randy Carmichael is president. Its Road Hazard Warranty provides "free repair or replacement of your tires," so ask whether it covers an RV's tires. Google lists it as an RV repair shop, rated 4.7 stars from 495 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in Brevard or Indian River county who can drive a motorhome or fifth-wheel to the shop on a weekday and wants alignment, suspension or tire work done there.
