Sundowner RV Service

Sundowner RV Service is a mobile RV repair service based in Macclenny, Florida. It comes to you, at your home, a storage lot or a campsite. The site names parks it works at, including Island Oaks RV Resort and Ocean Pond Campground, and gives its service area as "Servicing all of Northeast florida & beyond." No radius is stated, so ask how far it will drive.

It works on generator troubleshooting, water system repairs, slide-outs, holding tank repairs, roof leaks and furnace issues, on fifth-wheels, toy-haulers and campers. It names no brands. A rig with a dead slide-out often cannot be moved safely, so a tech who comes to the campsite saves a tow.

Published prices are the 45 Point RV Health & Safety Inspection at $279.00, Roof Inspection at $249.00, Annual A/C System Service at $249.00 per A/C unit, and Annual Furnace System Service at $185.00. Its trip fee starts at $145: "Our mobile service calls start at just $145 depending on location." It publishes no hourly rate, so ask about labor when you call. It lists 24/7 emergency service, with "Emergency repairs available anytime, anywhere."

It states "Licensed, insured and ready to roll." Its pages say its technicians are certified but name no certification, so ask which one before booking. Google rates it 4.5 stars from 42 reviews. The 45-point inspection includes a detailed digital report, which is useful when buying a used rig, because a leak can hide behind walls until after the sale.

This is a good fit for an owner in Baker County or nearby who wants a written inspection at a storage lot, or for a traveler stuck at a campground with a slide-out, generator or water problem who needs a tech on site.
