G-Tec RV Inspections and Services

G-Tec RV Inspections and Services is an RV inspection business run by Keith, a Florida native and full-time resident of the Tampa Bay area. It does not name a town it is based in. Its A/C maintenance and repair is a mobile service, so for that work it comes to you. For an inspection, ask whether it comes to where the RV is parked.

It inspects all classes of RVs, including motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers, for buyers, sellers, lenders and insurers. There are two levels. The Essential Inspection takes 25 to 35 photos over 70 to 75 points and 3 to 5 hours. The longer one takes 80 to 100 photos over 155 to 175 points and 7 to 9 hours. It also offers fluid analysis on engine oil, coolant, transmission, generator oil and coolant and Aqua-Hot, and a walkthrough and training session on a newly bought RV.

On the service side it does RV air conditioner maintenance and repairs on Dometic, Coleman, Furrion and GE units. The maintenance visit checks the fan motors, compressor, overload, capacitors, thermostat, AC and DC power and cooling performance, and cleans and inspects the coils. A roof AC that gets a yearly service like this is less likely to quit in July.

He has over 20 years of RV experience and more than 42 years of inspection, repair and calibration work in other fields, including the United States Navy.
