Tool Time RV is a mobile RV tech in Northeast Florida, owned and run by Matthew Moses. It is mobile only, with no shop, and comes to you at a campground, your house or a storage lot. Its service area covers parts of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia "up to 20 miles from my location," including Fernandina Beach, Yulee, Callahan, North Jacksonville, St. Marys and Kingsland.

He works on air conditioners, furnaces and water heaters, slide-outs, plumbing leaks and water pumps, roof sealant, generators, refrigerators, leveling systems, 12v and 120v electrical, and converters and inverters. Upgrades include A/C soft starts, smart thermostats, slide toppers, backup cameras, solar panels and surge protectors. He does not work on motorhome engines, transmissions, brakes or chassis, and does not do black tank repairs or structural roof, wall or floor repairs. He can also check over an RV you plan to buy or sell.

The service call is $125 for the trip up to 20 miles, then $3.00 a mile beyond that. Labor is $150 an hour from arrival, with a one hour minimum. After hours, it is $175 for the service call plus $200 an hour, and a second technician adds $125. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Warranty jobs are paid up front, and he gathers what the warranty company needs for reimbursement.

Matthew Moses trained at the NRVTA in 2022 and lists RVTAA Certified RV Service Technician, NRVTA Advanced RV Service Technician, generator and solar certifications, Authorized Aqua-Hot Service Technician, and training from Lippert, Furrion, Dometic and Suburban. He says he is insured. A tech who comes to the storage lot saves the cost and wait of towing the rig to a shop.

This is a good fit for an owner around Yulee, Fernandina Beach or north Jacksonville who wants a posted rate and a certified tech at the driveway or storage lot.
