Detail Florida

Detail Florida is a mobile car detailer based in Citrus County, Florida. It comes to you. It says "We come to you. You stay in the AC." It brings water and power to your driveway anywhere in Citrus County, and it names Sugarmill Woods, Homosassa, Crystal River, Inverness and Lecanto among its towns.

Its work is cars, SUVs and trucks: complete interior and exterior details, ceramic coating, paint correction, interior recovery, hot-water extraction on seats and carpets, and pet hair removal and odor treatment. RVs are named once, in a list with golf carts and boats. Its price lists show no RV pricing and no RV size limits, and "Large vehicles or heavier condition work are confirmed from photos before scheduling." Paint correction comes before ceramic coating for a reason: "Coating over damaged or failing paint locks the damage in."

Its prices do not agree from page to page. Its prices apply to "standard-size vehicles in standard condition," so confirm the number before you book. No trip fee, hourly rate or hours are published, so ask about the trip fee when you call.

It lists no certifications and does not state a license. It says "Locally owned & insured," and it promises: "Tell us within 24 hours if we missed something included, and we will correct it." Mitch, listed as owner and lead detailer, says "I work on every vehicle myself." Requests get a reply that "Mitch reviews it personally, usually same day." Google rates it 5 stars from 1 review. When someone works on your vehicle in your driveway, ask about insurance before the work starts.

This is a good fit for a Citrus County owner with a car, SUV or truck who wants a detail or paint correction done at home and a price confirmed from photos first. An RV owner should ask whether RV pricing and size limits apply before booking.
