Iceberg Mobile RV

Iceberg Mobile RV is a mobile RV tech based in Hastings, Florida. It comes to you, at a campground, a driveway or a storage spot. Its work is mobile RV service and preventative maintenance across NE Florida, and Michele Berg is the tech named on the site.

It works on motorhomes and trailers, covering A/C cleaning, water heater flushes, slide-outs and seals, roof sealing, preventative maintenance and inspections. Many repairs are done where the rig is parked, which matters more than it sounds. A slide-out that will not come in often means the rig cannot be moved safely, so a tech who comes to the campground saves a tow. An inspection takes 4 to 8 hours and comes with photos and a detailed list of tests emailed to you, which helps before you buy a used coach. The service area it names runs from Keystone Heights RVR and Salt Springs to Jacksonville, St Augustine, Palatka, Palm Coast, Daytona and Port Orange, along with other towns and campgrounds.

Iceberg publishes a trip fee of $150.00 for each trip. Labor is $150 per hour with a 1 hour minimum, then billed in 15 minute increments. After hours and emergency calls have doubled fees. Parts, tax and shipping are added on top. Maintenance is priced only on request, and it does not publish a diagnostic fee. The trip fee past 2 hours is not given, so ask about it when you call 904-837-3282, along with payment methods and response time. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Michele Berg holds a Florida Certified RV Technician credential, an RVTTC Certified RV Service Tech credential and a Florida Master LP License, LI45187. Florida requires a Master LP license for LP work, and the business lists itself as Florida LP certified and insured. Berg trained at Lippert and at workshops around Florida, and Berg is a member of the FLRVTA and Director for the NE Florida Region 6. Iceberg works with OEM (1-yr warranty), extended warranty and insurance claims, though those may carry an admin or processing fee. Google rates it 4.7 stars from 26 reviews. It does not say how long it has been in business, so ask when you call.

This is a good fit for an owner around Hastings or the NE Florida towns above who wants published rates before the tech arrives, or a traveler at a campground with a slide-out or A/C problem who can call during weekday hours or pay the doubled after hours fees.
