Cove Marine & RV

Cove Marine & RV is a mobile RV and marine service based in Green Cove Springs, Florida. It comes to you at your home, an RV park, a marina, a campground or the roadside, "with no tow required." A rig with a dead slide-out often cannot be moved safely, so a tech who comes to you saves a tow.

It works on motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, truck campers and pop-ups, and it also takes on conversion trailers, food trucks and buses. Its listed work covers maintenance, repairs, refits and aftermarket installs (including an inverter system), inspections, insurance claims, and OEM warranty work for Dometic and Lippert. It names no specific systems such as air conditioners or refrigerators, so ask about yours before you book. Its service area is "throughout Northeast Florida," including Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Gainesville.

Its trip fee, which it calls a mobile service call, runs between $25 and $135 depending on distance, with rates based on travel from Green Cove Springs. The labor rate is $145.00 /hr with a one hour minimum on all calls. A $25 Military Base Access Fee applies on the first visit to a military installation. It does not publish a diagnostic fee or hours, so ask about both when you call.

The business describes "decades of hands-on experience in the Marine and RV world," and Google rates it 5 stars from 38 reviews. It names no certifications, no licensing or insurance statement and no technician, so ask who will come out, what training they have and whether the work is insured.

This is a good fit for an owner in Northeast Florida who wants the labor rate and trip fee before the visit, or a traveler at a regional campground who needs the work done where the rig sits.
