Snowbird RV Repair

Snowbird RV Repair is a mobile RV repair business serving West-Central Florida, from Crystal River south to Ft. Myers and the areas in between. It comes to you: "We come to your site for repairs." No street address is shown, so ask where the crew is based when you call. Its crew says it will spend the year in Florida.

It works on motorhomes, van conversions, travel trailers and 5th wheels: "We repair all makes and models, from motorhomes and van conversions to travel trailers and 5th wheels." The systems it lists include air conditioning, refrigerators, water heaters, stoves and ovens, slide rooms, batteries, awnings, jacks and stabilizers, roofs, brake systems, tires, underbelly, fluid levels, inverters and converters, and lighting and wiring. The brands it names include Dometic, Atwood, Norcold, Suburban, Airxcel, LCI, Power Gear, Truma, Carefree and Thetford.

Snowbird does not publish a trip fee, an hourly rate or any job prices, so ask about the trip fee first when you call, then the hourly rate. Its posted hours are 9:00AM to 6:00PM daily, with Saturday hours of 10AM to 2PM and Sunday by appointment only. Its warranty is headed "Quality and Functionality, Guaranteed," but it does not say what the guarantee covers, so ask before you book.

Its inspection service tests the water heater, refrigerator, stove and oven, lighting, air conditioning, slide rooms, batteries, awnings, charger and inverter, and jacks and stabilizers, and visually checks the roof, brake system, tires, underbelly and fluid levels. An inspection before you buy a used rig shows what it needs before you spend money on it, and a pre-trip inspection catches problems before you are far from home. Snowbird does not name any certification, licensing or insurance, does not name its technicians, and does not say how long it has been in business. Ask for those before you book.

This is a good fit for an owner in West-Central Florida who wants a pre-trip or pre-purchase inspection done where the rig is parked, or a traveler between Crystal River and Ft. Myers with a repair on a motorhome, van conversion, travel trailer or 5th wheel who will confirm the trip fee and the guarantee terms before booking.
