ERV Service

ERV Service is a mobile RV tech based in Ashford, Connecticut. It comes to you, saying "RV repair on site or at home," so you do not need to haul the rig anywhere to get it looked at.

It works on roofs, plumbing, electrical systems, roof air conditioners, patio and window awnings, water heaters, refrigerators, furnaces, interior lighting, solar power and panel installs, slide-out repairs and adjustments, LP gas systems and leak tests, and steps. It also handles winterizing and de-winterizing, which matters in New England where a missed drain line means a cracked water heater by spring.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about the trip fee when you call and confirm whether your location falls in its working area. The business does say its techs are also its service writers, meaning the person who answers the phone already knows the likely problem before showing up, which can save a second visit. It is family owned and operated, and it handles general maintenance as well as insurance work, extended warranty repairs and manufacturer warranty repairs, including coordinating directly with your extended warranty company. Military and first responders get 10 percent off with valid ID. Hours run Monday through Thursday 8 to 5, Friday 8 to 4, and Saturday by appointment.

Google rates it 5 stars from 4 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Ashford area with a warranty claim to sort out, a slide-out or fridge problem at home, or a rig that needs winterizing before the cold sets in.
