The RV Guy Frontrange

The RV Guy Frontrange is an RV repair shop based in Thornton, Colorado. You bring the RV to its shop at 16250 Washington St., rather than having a tech come to your site.

It specializes in collision repair, hail damage repair, paint and bodywork, roof repair, re-roofing and Airstream restoration. It also works on solar installation, water systems, electrical components, awning service and replacement, appliance installation, axles, brakes and bearing service, and generator maintenance, on travel trailers, fifth wheels, Class A, B and C motorhomes and Airstreams. It serves the Denver metro area, including Lakewood, Littleton, Westminster, Wheat Ridge, Commerce City, Roxborough and Greenwood Village. In its own words, "We work on all types and ages of RVs, setting us apart as one of the only RV repair facilities with no age limit," which matters if your rig is older and a dealer has turned it away.

No trip fee or hourly rate is published, so ask about both when you call. It does offer a free initial hail damage inspection once a job is accepted, which is worth knowing if a storm has just hit and you are weighing an insurance claim. Hours are listed as Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Saturday and Sunday.

The shop is family owned, run by Matthew Steenbergh, and backs its repairs with a warranty. It also works directly with insurance companies on collision and hail claims, and offers pre-buy inspections, including a VIN audit, for anyone buying or selling a used RV.

Google rates it 4.5 stars from 13 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Denver metro area dealing with collision or hail damage, needing a roof resealed, or wanting a pre-buy inspection before closing on a used rig.
