Colorado Custom Camper

Colorado Custom Camper is a van build and camper repair shop based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Ask when you call whether it comes to your location or whether you bring the rig to its shop in Steamboat Springs.

It works on fully customized van builds along with "everything camper related," including lithium-ion battery banks, solar array installs, tire repair and VW Vanagon repair. Its FAQ lists a focus on electrical and water systems and on partial or full builds, and says the team works on Sprinter, Transit, Promaster, Chevy and most truck camper platforms. It carries Fiamma, Battle Born Lithium Batteries and Victron Energy components. The gallery shows finished work ranging from a Transit converted to haul dirt bikes or snowbikes, to a frame up restoration of a 1966 Airstream, to a personal 1989 VW Vanagon with 319k miles still running strong.

No trip fee, hourly rate or service area is published, so ask about pricing and whether your location is in range before you commit. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10am to 5:00pm. No warranty, licensing or insurance is stated either, so ask about those directly as well.

Google rates it 4.8 stars from 23 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner planning a van or truck camper build, chasing down a solar or lithium battery upgrade, or restoring an older rig like a Vanagon or vintage Airstream, rather than someone with a routine repair on a standard motorhome.
