Ark Valley RV Services

Ark Valley RV Services is a mobile RV repair business based in Salida, Colorado. It comes to you, bringing the repair shop to your driveway, storage lot or campsite, and covers Salida, Buena Vista, Gunnison and Leadville.

It works on Class A, C, vans, travel trailers and fifth wheels, servicing air conditioners, refrigerators, slide-outs, water heaters and furnaces, along with Dometic, Norcold, Coleman, Suburban, Furrion and Lippert components. It also handles RV cleanings, diagnostics, upgrades, winterizing and technical inspections, including driving out to a dealership to inspect an RV before you buy it, which matters if you do not want to trust that call to the seller. Beyond repair work, it also does mobile RV solar installation around Salida, Buena Vista and Gunnison for owners looking to cut generator time while boondocking.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about the trip fee when you call. Hours are listed as Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, with "our service hours are flexible, so give us a call to schedule an appointment that works for you."

Chris Arredondo runs the business and deliberately caps his "seasonal client roster," keeping enough time and parts on hand for the rigs he takes on rather than rushing between campsites. Google rates it 5 stars from 22 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Chaffee County and high country area who wants a tech to come to the campsite instead of losing the spot and the week to a dealership waitlist, or a traveler weighing a used RV purchase who wants an inspection before signing.
