RV+Home Handyman

RV+Home Handyman is a mobile RV tech and handyman service based in Montrose, Colorado. It comes to you, whether that is a home driveway, an RV park, a campground, a storage facility or a seasonal property, anywhere in Montrose, Delta, Ridgway, Ouray and the surrounding Western Slope.

It works on furnaces, water heaters, air conditioners, water leaks, 120VAC and 12 volt systems, roof repair and UV treatment, and waste tank repairs. It also handles plumbing work like leaky faucets and water heater installs, and electrical repairs including wiring for RV awnings. A tech who comes to the campground matters here: a rig with a bad furnace or a leaking waste tank is often not something you want to tow across the Western Slope to a shop.

There is no published trip fee or hourly rate, so ask about both when you call. Most projects are "quoted and billed on an hourly basis," with "a clear estimate and honest communication" promised before work starts, and a senior discount is available. It lists availability 24 hours a day for urgent service needs, which matters if a furnace quits in a Montrose winter.

Owner Tim Waychoff brings more than 30 years of engineering, construction, facility maintenance and repair experience to the business. Google rates it 5 stars from 5 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner or traveler parked anywhere from Montrose to Ouray who needs a furnace, water heater, AC, roof or electrical problem looked at without hauling the rig into a shop, and who wants a clear estimate before the work starts.
