Vail Valley Auto Shine

Vail Valley Auto Shine is a car detailing business based in Eagle-Vail, Colorado, a few minutes from Vail. It also runs airport and private shuttle trips. Ask whether it comes to your campsite or driveway, or whether you bring the camper to its shop, before you book.

Its RV work is one line on its website: "We can detail your RV or camper by estimate." That line does not say what the detail includes, and it names no RV repairs, inspections or RV brands. Its towns are Eagle-Vail and Vail, so a traveler farther out should ask about the drive before calling.

RV work has no set price, only an estimate, so get a number before anyone starts on the camper. Its car prices start at $250 for small vehicles, $350 for medium and $450 for large, and those figures are for cars. Ask about a trip fee when you call. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and appointments go by call, email or text.

The business calls itself "an eco-friendly business with over 10 years experience," and its testimonials name Brett as the detailer. Ask about insurance and any warranty before you leave a camper with it, since it describes neither. Google rates it 5 stars from 3 reviews, a small sample.

A detail cleans and protects a rig, but it will not fix a leaking roof, a dead slide-out or a failing fridge. This is a good fit for an owner around Eagle-Vail and Vail who wants a camper detailed and will settle the estimate, the trip fee and the insurance questions by phone first.
