ProServe RV

ProServe RV is an RV repair shop based in Carbondale, Colorado, at 826 Highway 133, Unit D-1. It works from a fixed location, so you bring your rig to the shop. Its page only says "Visit or call," so ask whether it will come out to a campground, driveway or storage lot before you plan on that.

It lists three kinds of work: RV maintenance, repairs and modifications. Maintenance is "Regular upkeep to ensure the longevity and performance of your RV." Repairs address "various mechanical and structural issues." The rigs it names are Class A Motorhome, Class B Camper Van, Class C Motorhome, travel trailer, fifth wheel, horse trailer and livestock trailer. It is now serving "horse and livestock trailers," so raise that if you tow one.

No hours, hourly rate, trip fee or job prices are listed. Ask about each of those when you call 970-404-1787, and get a price for your specific job before you leave the rig.

No certifications, licensing, insurance, warranty or named technicians are listed. The page refers to "experienced technicians" but gives no names or years in business. A written warranty tells you what happens if a repair fails after you leave, and proof of insurance tells you who pays if your rig is damaged in the shop. Ask for both before you hand over the keys.

This is a good fit for an owner in Carbondale with a motorhome, travel trailer, fifth wheel, horse trailer or livestock trailer that needs maintenance, a repair or a modification and can get to the shop. It suits a traveler stuck at a campground less well, unless the shop confirms it will come out.
