Whip's RV

Whip's RV is an RV repair shop based in Yucaipa, California. You bring the RV to its 10 acre facility with four service bays, rather than a tech coming to you.

The shop works on base plates, towbars, satellite systems, appliances, water heaters, refrigerators, oven ranges and generators, and handles everything from regular maintenance to major body damage. It is also an Eclipse RV dealer selling Stellar toyhaulers and Stellar fifth wheels, so the techs see those models often. Danny Wippert started the business over 40 years ago as a mobile service before growing it into the current facility, and it says it serves San Bernardino County, Riverside County, San Diego County, Los Angeles County and the rest of Southern California.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call. What is published is that Whip's RV accepts insurance work and extended warranty claims, which matters if your rig needs body repair after an accident or a covered appliance failure. The shop describes its service department as "one of the Best RV repair facilities" in Southern California, and its techs are certified on the products they sell and service.

It is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 8 am to noon, closed Sunday.

Google rates it 4.5 stars from 103 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Inland Empire or greater Southern California area who needs body work or an insurance claim handled at a shop built for it, or who owns a Stellar toyhauler or fifth wheel and wants a dealer familiar with the brand.
