Jeff's Gas Appliances
Own this business? Update this listingJeff's Gas Appliances is a gas appliance repair business based in Willits, California. It offers on-site and in-shop repair and says, "we offer on-site and in-our-shop repair services for your gas appliances," so a tech can come to the rig or the RV owner can drive over to the shop.
It specializes in off-grid gas appliances, including RVs, and works on propane refrigerators, gas dryers, and gas ranges, stove tops and ovens, along with water heaters. Its main focus, in its own words, is "off grid propane refrigerators, gas dryers, ranges and water heaters repair." It serves Mendocino and Lake County, including Willits, Redwood Valley, Laytonville and Ukiah.
No trip fee or hourly rate is published, so ask about cost when calling. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and it says to "give us a call if you require same-day assistance" for anything that cannot wait.
A propane fridge that will not cool on a hot afternoon is not something every appliance repair shop will touch, and this one names RV gas appliances as a specialty rather than an afterthought. Calling connects the RV owner directly with the owner to talk through the problem before anyone drives out or opens the unit up.
Google rates it 4.8 stars from 38 reviews.
This is a good fit for an RV owner in Mendocino or Lake County with a gas fridge, dryer, range or water heater acting up, who wants a repair instead of a replacement appliance, and who can work within weekday hours rather than needing a round-the-clock crew.
