Sierra Heavy Duty RV & Truck Center

Sierra Heavy Duty RV & Truck Center is an RV repair shop based in Sonora, California. You can bring your rig to their shop, or for emergencies they come to you and will pick up and deliver your coach, which matters if your motorhome is too damaged or broken down to drive in on its own.

They work on motorhomes, travel trailers and van conversions, covering general maintenance, suspension repair, exterior and cosmetic repair, interior appliance repair and replacement, and emergency mobile repairs that do not involve roadside breakdowns. For older rigs they also offer full restoration work, including flooring, appliances, electronics, cameras, satellite systems, roofs and A/C service. On the collision side, they say "we can repair and restore almost any RV damage to like-new condition," which covers fiberglass and metal work from accidents as well as ordinary wear and tear. They also stock RV parts and accessories and offer next day delivery on most special orders.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic charge is published, so ask about pricing and whether mobile service reaches your location when you call. They are open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and closed weekends. They also handle service work tied to manufacturer and extended warranties, which can save you a trip to a dealer for warranty claims.

Steve Henley owns the shop, which has been family owned since it got into the RV side of the business in the early 1960s, after starting in heavy trucks in the 1950s. Google rates them 4.7 stars from 90 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near Sonora with collision, restoration or appliance work, or someone already dealing with a warranty claim who wants one shop to handle it.
