PC Mechanical

PC Mechanical is an RV repair shop based in Santa Maria, California. You bring the RV to its facility on Industrial Parkway rather than having a tech come to you.

The shop works on motorhomes, travel trailers, horse trailers and dump trailers, with a service list that covers gas and diesel engines, generators, brake jobs, wheel bearings, hydraulics, A/C, electrical systems, furnaces, LP inspections, water heaters, ovens and ranges, refrigerators, appliance and accessory checks, water system checks, winterization, de-winterization and a 45 point inspection. It calls itself "your RV Chassis Specialist for Santa Barbara County and Santa Maria," which covers the surrounding region beyond just the city itself. It also offers monthly RV, boat and trailer storage if you need a spot to park between trips.

No hourly rate, diagnostic fee or minimum charge is published, so ask what a visit will run when you call to book.

PC Mechanical has been in business since 1991 and added full RV repair and service to its lineup in 2015, so the RV side has been running for about a decade alongside its longer history in truck, trailer and industrial mechanical work. It holds a General Contractors "B" License and specialty equipment licenses. Google rates it 4.6 stars from 73 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in or near Santa Maria or elsewhere in Santa Barbara County who can bring the rig to a shop rather than needing someone at the campsite, especially for engine, generator, brake or appliance work that needs a full bay to do right.
