Alliance Diesel

Alliance Diesel is a diesel and RV repair shop based in San Jacinto, California, at 1309 S Juanita St, and it runs its own shop there. It calls itself "specialists in the field of Diesel and RV work." It does not say whether it comes to your rig, so ask whether it can work at your campground or driveway before you book. The phone number is 951-654-4320.

It describes its RV work as "full maintenance and repair on all RV's and Trailers/campers." The systems it lists are A/C, engine rebuilds and transmission work. Its diesel work covers Ford, Dodge, GM and Isuzu trucks, with Hino and UD also listed. It also says, "We also have hookups so you can stay in your RV while we're working on it if you would like." That matters when a repair runs several days, because you can sleep in your own rig instead of paying for a hotel. The owner is named Dave, and the business started in 2013.

It does not publish a trip fee, an hourly rate or per-job prices, so ask about the trip fee and the hourly rate when you call. Its listed hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and it is closed on weekends. It does not mention after-hours or emergency service, a warranty, licensing or insurance. It names no certifications either. For an RV, a certification such as RVTI or NRVTA shows the techs have trained on RV systems, so ask what training they hold. Google rates the shop 4.6 stars from 124 reviews, under the category RV repair shop.

This is a good fit for an owner in Southern California who has a trailer, camper or diesel truck that needs work at a shop, can leave the rig for a few days, and will ask about the trip fee before booking. It is a weaker fit for a traveler stranded on a weekend, since the listed hours run Monday through Friday.
