The RV Academy

The RV Academy is a mobile RV repair and instructional service based in Roseville, California. It comes to you, working throughout the Greater Sacramento Area, so a rig at a storage lot or a driveway does not need to be driven anywhere for a repair or an inspection.

The mobile repair side covers electrical systems, appliances, leveling jacks, slides and plumbing, and it names the brands it services: Dometic, Suburban, Coleman-Airxcel, Thetford, Norcold, Lippert and Aquahot. It also does windshield repair for cracks and chips on RVs and tow vehicles, and offers a full inspection that checks the electrical system, leveling jacks, slides, propane system, heaters, air conditioners and appliances, with a detailed report and photos, video available on request. Owner Patrick Stiltner is a Certified NRVIA Inspector, which matters if you are buying a used rig and want an independent set of eyes on it before you sign anything.

Beyond repair, The RV Academy runs instructional services for newer owners: a dealer pick-up walk-through, a two-night campground training bootcamp with a bumper-to-bumper review and safety checklists, and driving instruction covering mirrors, backing, mountain driving and campsite parking. Patrick is a former private coach driver and describes himself as "fully licensed and insured to operate any recreational vehicle available in the industry."
